UBMD Primary Care is one of 16 medical practices in UBMD Physicians’ Group, the single largest medical group in Western New York. Our physicians are family medicine providers, certified by the American Board of Family Medicine to treat patients ranging from pediatrics through geriatrics. Our physicians are also faculty in the Department of Family Medicine at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo, teaching the next generation of physicians. Our physicians consistently receive national and international acclaim and recognition for their teaching, research and clinical work.

NURSE PRACTITIONER/PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT (PT-FLOAT)

UBMD Primary Care is seeking a skilled and patient‑focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primary care services at our Tonawanda and Williamsville clinics. This role is ideal for an APP who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced outpatient environment and is committed to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care.

The APP will work under physician supervision and play a key role in health promotion, disease prevention, patient education, and care coordination. The schedule is PART-TIME working 3 days a week (5 clinical sessions with 1 administrative session).

Pay range for part-time position is $62,400–$71,300/year.  Any offer of employment is contingent upon a successful background check and drug screen.   AA/EOE

MEDICAL ASSISTANT (PART-TIME) - TONAWANDA, NY

UBMD Primary Care is seeking a part‑time Medical Assistant for our busy outpatient clinic located at 2465 Sheridan Dr, Tonawanda, NY 14150. The schedule is Tuesdays & Fridays, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM.

Responsibilities include patient rooming, vitals, EMR documentation, specimen collection, and POC testing. Strong communication, multitasking, and EMR skills required. MA/MOA certification or 2+ years of experience preferred.

Pay range is $18-$19.50/hour.  Any offer of employment is contingent upon successful background check and drug screen.   AA/EOE

PATIENT SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE - FLOAT

UBMD Primary Care is seeking skilled, patient‑focused Patient Services Representatives (PSRs) to join our busy outpatient clinics in Tonawanda and Williamsville. This role is ideal for someone who excels at communication, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and enjoys helping patients feel supported from the moment they walk in.The schedule is generally Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, with one (1) evening shift per month (12:15–8:15 PM) on rotation with the PSR team. 

Responsibilities include greeting patients, managing a high call volume, performing check‑in and check‑out, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments, collecting copays and completing daily copay reports, and providing general customer service and office support. Candidates must have excellent communication and multi‑tasking skills, 1–2 years of medical office experience, proficiency with EMR and Healthenet, and general office skills such as faxing and copying.

Pay range is $17-$19/hour.  Any offer of employment is contingent upon successful background check and drug screen.   AA/EOE

PATIENT SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE - WILLIAMSVILLE, NY

UBMD Primary Care is seeking full‑time Patient Services Representatives (PSRs) for our busy outpatient clinic located at 850 Hopkins Road in Buffalo, NY. The schedule is generally Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with the ability to work two to three evening shifts per month (12:30–8:30 PM) on rotation with the PSR team. 

Responsibilities include greeting patients, managing a high call volume, performing check‑in and check‑out, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments, collecting copays and completing daily copay reports, and providing general customer service and office support. Candidates must have excellent communication and multi‑tasking skills, 1–2 years of medical office experience, proficiency with EMR and Healthenet, and general office skills such as faxing and copying.

LPN (PART-TIME) - ORCHARD PARK, NY

UBMD Primary Care is seeking a part‑time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our outpatient clinic in Orchard Park. We are looking for candidates with strong communication, organizational, multitasking and customer‑service skills, as well as experience using electronic medical records. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years experience in nursing, preferably in an outpatient clinic setting, but new grads are encouraged to apply. This position follows a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday schedule, with flexible start and end times during clinic hours, averaging 6–7 hours per day (18–21 hours per week).

Pay range is $24.00-$26.00/hour.  Any offer of employment is contingent upon successful background check and drug screen.   AA/EOE.

PATIENT SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE - DOWNTOWN BUFFALO

UBMD Primary Care is seeking a full‑time Patient Services Representative (PSR) for our busy multi‑specialty outpatient clinic in the Conventus Medical Office Building at 1001 Main Street in Buffalo. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:30 am–5:30 pm, with one Thursday evening shift (11:30 am–8:00 pm) per month on rotation.

ACADEMIC SCHOLAR - CLINICAL ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

UBMD Primary Care (aka Family Medicine) and the Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences is seeking full time faculty member.  UBMD Primary Care physicians are responsible for maintaining an active clinical practice at an ambulatory clinic and/or designated hospital.  Responsibilities include:  Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease or injury; order, perform and interpret tests and analyze records, reports and examination information to diagnose patients’ condition(s); coordinate timely follow up of patient requests for services regarding prescription requests, referrals, diagnostic testing and appointments for sick visits; and supervise nurse practitioner(s) and/or physician assistant(s), when applicable and required.  Must have active NYS medical license, valid DEA registration, board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, completion of graduate medical education program and completion of residency training program.  Salary range $200k to $220k depending on location and number of clinical sessions.  To apply, please visit UB jobs at https://www.ubjobs.buffalo.edu/postings/52821.
