UBMD Primary Care is one of 16 medical practices in UBMD Physicians’ Group, the single largest medical group in Western New York. Our physicians are family medicine providers, certified by the American Board of Family Medicine to treat patients ranging from pediatrics through geriatrics. MEDICAL ASSISTANT - ORCHARD PARK (PART-TIME)
UBMD Primary Care seeking a part-time Medical Assistant for our outpatient clinic in Orchard Park. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience working as an MA/MOA, preferably in an outpatient clinic setting. Candidates should also have experience in electronic medical records, excellent communication, organizational, customer service, and multi-tasking skills. Schedule will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00 am - 2:00 pm.

PATIENT SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE - WILLIAMSVILE
UBMD Primary Care is seeking full-time Patient Services Representatives (PSRs) at our busy outpatient clinic located at 850 Hopkins Rd, Buffalo, NY 14221. The ideal schedule would generally be Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with the ability to work two to three (2-3) evening hours (12:30-8:30 PM) per month, on rotation with other PSRs
Duties include, but are not limited to, greeting patients, maintain high call volume, check in/out, verifying insurances, scheduling appointments, daily copay reports/collecting copays, general customer service. Must have excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. 1-2 years' experience in medical office required, EMR and Healthenet experience required, general office skills (faxing, copying, etc.) required.

NURSE PRACTITIONER/PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT (APP)

The APP will provide primary and episodic care to patients under the supervision of a physician. Responsible for delivery of quality care to patients, while emphasizing health promotion and/or disease prevention through patient education and coordination of care. Will interpret diagnostic test results, compile and record patient medical data, make diagnoses and decisions about management and treatment of patients. The APP prescribes therapy or medication with physician approval, as well as administer or order diagnostic tests such as x-rays, electrocardiograms and lab tests. UBMD Primary Care seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for a busy outpatient clinic in downtown Buffalo at the Conventus Medical Office Building. LPN QUALITY SPECIALIST
UBMD Primary Care seeking part time LPN Quality Specialist (2 days per week) to work with care team members on meeting and maintaining quality measures set by payers and various regulatory programs. Will facilitate practice redesign efforts and support improved patient outcomes, as well as assist with increasing patient, provider and health care team satisfaction and efficiency within the practice. Will perform outreach to patients who have been recently discharged from the hospital or emergency room to reconcile medications, connect patient with appropriate follow up and answer questions about transition of care process. Conducts previsit planning on upcoming appointments to ensure necessary information is gathered for providers.
Must have a current and valid NYS LPN license. Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience working in an outpatient clinic or primary care practice preferred. Experience working on quality measures a plus! Must have excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Knowledge of PCMH and patient education preferred.
Position can be remote after training period with availability to be on site for meetings as needed. Schedule will be 7.5 hours on Tuesdays and Fridays OR Thursdays and Fridays. Responsible for ensuring timely and efficient rooming of patients, performing clinical intake on patients by checking vitals, preparing patients for exams, procedures and/or treatments, as well as obtaining and evaluating patient's history in EMR system. Will assist with provider orders and call backs under the direction of a nurse, APP or physician. Certified Medical Assistants (CMA or CCMA) or degree preferred. ACADEMIC SCHOLAR - CLINICAL ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
UBMD Primary Care (aka Family Medicine) and the Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences is seeking full time faculty member. UBMD Primary Care physicians are responsible for maintaining an active clinical practice at an ambulatory clinic and/or designated hospital. Responsibilities include: Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease or injury; order, perform and interpret tests and analyze records, reports and examination information to diagnose patients’ condition(s); coordinate timely follow up of patient requests for services regarding prescription requests, referrals, diagnostic testing and appointments for sick visits; and supervise nurse practitioner(s) and/or physician assistant(s), when applicable and required. Must have active NYS medical license, valid DEA registration, board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, completion of graduate medical education program and completion of residency training program.
