PATIENT SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE COORDINATOR
UBMD Primary Care is seeking full time Patient Services Representative Coordinator (PSR-C) for downtown Conventus Medical Office Building to assume responsibility for management of the front desk and phone teams, as well as all facets of the front desk. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day front desk employee needs, workloads, and schedules as well as greeting and registering patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, entering patient charges and demographics, retrieving and updating medical records, collecting fees and performing general administrative and other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager. Will order office supplies and manage organizational needs for best efficiency, as well as manage office banking responsibilities. Will manage job assignments for front desk team to ensure workloads (prior authorizations, referrals, new patient process, scanning) and adjust as needed. Provide mentorship and training to front desk and phone teams. Assists in quality metric projects such as daily no-show, error weekly work, procedure book management, alignment forms, etc.). Will work as a front desk member while managing supervisor responsibilities with duties such as scheduling patient appointments, capturing and verifying patient demographics, insurance, etc., greeting and directing patients, etc.
High school diploma or GED required, Associate's degree preferred. One to two years' experience working in medical reception, preferably in an outpatient clinic setting. Medical terminology preferred. Supervisory experience required. Excellent communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills required.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 9:30 am to 5:30 pm with Thursday evening rotations (along with other staff).

PATIENT SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE
UBMD Primary Care is seeking a full-time Patient Services Representative (PSR) for our busy multi-specialty outpatient clinic located at Conventus Medical Building-1001 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14203. The ideal schedule would be Monday through Friday 9:30 am to 5:30 pm with ability to work one (1) Thursday evening (12:30-8:30 pm) per month on rotation with the other PSR's. FREE PARKING!!
Duties include, but are not limited to, greeting patients, check in/out, verifying insurances, scheduling appointments, daily copay reports/collecting copays, general customer service. Must have excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. 1-2 years' experience in medical office required, EMR and Healthenet experience required, general office skills (faxing, copying, etc.) required.

MEDICAL ASSISTANT
UBMD Primary Care seeking full-time Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to perform clinical duties at our outpatient clinic in Williamsville. Responsible for ensuring timely and efficient rooming of patients, performing clinical intake on patients by checking vitals, preparing patients for exams, procedures and/or treatments, as well as obtaining and evaluating patient's history in EMR system. Will assist with provider orders and call backs under the direction of a nurse, APP or physician. MA/MOA certificate or degree preferred. May substitute a minimum of 2 years' experience in lieu of certificate/degree. Experience in an outpatient clinic setting preferred. Excellent communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills required. EMR experience required.
Schedule will be 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday with a minimum of one evening per month in rotation with the other clinical staff. Office located on the corner of Hopkins & Klein Roads in Williamsville.

PATIENT OUTREACH COORDINATOR
UBMD Primary Care is seeking part-time Patient Outreach Coordinator (POC) to contact patients via phone with a focus on scheduling annual visits and gaps in care utilizing clinic rosters. The POC will ensure accurate and timely scheduling of annual health maintenance visits, understand insurance guidelines in order to properly schedule visits and understand continuity of physician preferences from various locations. POC will be responsible for providing patients with reminder calls, routing calls and tasks to office when appropriate and organizing a large volume of tasks. High School or equivalent required. Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience required, preferably in a health care setting. Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills required.
Part time 22.5 hours per week with a flexible schedule. Remote work available after initial training period of 60-90 days.

ACADEMIC SCHOLAR - CLINICAL ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
UBMD Primary Care (aka Family Medicine) and the Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences is seeking full time faculty member. UBMD Primary Care physicians are responsible for maintaining an active clinical practice at an ambulatory clinic and/or designated hospital. Responsibilities include: Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease or injury; order, perform and interpret tests and analyze records, reports and examination information to diagnose patients’ condition(s); coordinate timely follow up of patient requests for services regarding prescription requests, referrals, diagnostic testing and appointments for sick visits; and supervise nurse practitioner(s) and/or physician assistant(s), when applicable and required. Must have active NYS medical license, valid DEA registration, board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, completion of graduate medical education program and completion of residency training program.
